The earliest Christians weren't reading a 66-book Bible. They were reading a much bigger library, and quoting it openly.
Jude quotes the Book of Enoch by name, right there in the New Testament (Jude 1:14). The original 1611 King James carried 80 books, not 66. These weren't fringe texts. They were Scripture to the people who built the early church.
Then the editing started. During the Protestant Reformation, certain books were pulled from the main text and set apart in a section labeled the “Apocrypha.”
The real break came in 1826, when the British and Foreign Bible Society voted to stop printing them altogether. No conspiracy—just a printing decision that quietly shrank the Bible most of the West reads today.
One church never went along with it: the Ethiopian Orthodox Church kept the full 88-book canon, exactly as it was handed down.
A shepherd stumbled onto clay jars hidden in a cave near the Dead Sea. Inside were the Dead Sea Scrolls—among the oldest biblical manuscripts ever found, roughly 2,000 years old.
The exact books removed from Western Bibles. The exact books Ethiopia never let go of.
That's the whole case, settled by the ground itself. Not late inventions. Not medieval add-ons. There from the beginning—older than almost anything in your current Bible.
So the Ethiopian Bible isn't adding to Scripture. It's the one version that never lost it. Open it, and you're reading what the early church read—confirmed by the oldest evidence ever pulled from the earth.
All 88 books. Every single one, exactly as the Ethiopian Orthodox Church preserved them.
Nothing missing, nothing watered down. Translated faithfully, so you're reading the actual text, not a loose paraphrase. Shipped fast, backed by a full 90-day guarantee, and already trusted by over 50,000 readers who wanted the whole story.
This is the Bible the early church read. Now it's yours to hold.
